VEDA SS13 Presentation at the Bowery Hotel

Presentation of VEDA Spring 13 at The Bowery Hotel for New York Fashion Week. Inspiration of the collection involved Daisies (1966), Wavy Gravy, The Crow Indian Powwow, Dactylography, America, Diary of a Drug Fiend by Aleister Crowley, Hells Angels' Old Ladies, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Hot Springs, Acid Tests, Dollywood, and Smoke Bombs. Our sponsors included Unearthen Jewelry, Nine West, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Arrojo Studio, Falke, and Butter London.

Veda's Fall 12 Fashion Presentation

Sex pistols meet Courtney Love in an alt grunge underground party.  This fall we were inspired by all things circa 1993 sprinkled with the likes of Tuesday Weld.  Think Shirley Manson (leading lady for band Garbage) drenched in leather and kickin' it with her dolled up Grandmother, both getting blitzed, cigarettes in hand.  All things copacetic. 

For our fall fashion week presentation, Olivia Malone shot our collection on some super babes at The Hole in downtown NYC.

Oh you know, just a regular old Friday when our very own Lyndsey Butler is featured in The New York Times with her super cute boyfriend Alexander Klein.  

Henry Matisse's Etchings for James Joyce's Ulysses

The famous artist, Henri Matisse, was asked to create etchings for an illustrated, special edition of Ulysses in 1935. You can get your hands on one of these bad boys for about $30,000.
